Membership
Membership of NALAG (Vic)
is open to any person interested or involved in loss and grief matters
and issues. Membership options are Clinical Member
(qualified counsellors with loss and grief training, loss and grief
counselling practice and clinical supervision), Professional
Member (qualified counsellors), Individual/Organisation
Member is open to any individual, service or organisation
interested or involved in loss and with grief matters and issues.
(Concession membership is available to eligible indivuals at 50%
disount). Two levels of organisation membership are available, small
organisations (those the have less than $100,000.00 annual income)
and large organisations (those that have more then $100,000.00 annual
income).
Membership Benefits
Members benefits includes
discounts at Association events, voting rights at AGM, copy of annual
report and opportunity to partiipate in events/issues related to
loss and grief in Victoria.
Membership is renewed annually in November. Members
of NALAG (Vic) receive discounts to Association events, discounts
at Open Leaves Bookshop and voting rights at the Association's Annual
General Meeting. Clinical members also get access to low cost professional
indemnity insurance, are eligible for provider status with WorkCover,
are listed on the NALAG practitioner database and website, have
access to on-line professional development and eceive formal recognition
within the loss & grief sector.
